This 1964 Pontiac GTO was born in Pontiac Michigan build date 05C third week in May and was the 353 car off the line, the motor build date D284 April 28th just ahead of the car. Paint code W-2 Nocturne Blue, Trim code 214 Black, Acc. Codes are 1W-2P-5N-5Z

 

This is a PHS (Pontiac Historic Services) documented GTO 4spd. (date coded) Numbers correct Tri-Power Convertible. The engine block is the correct 76X9 348 HP Tri-Power code with casting number 9970716 heads and a M21 close ratio transmission and 3:90 rear end, this was a very rare option on the GTO in 1964.

 

The GTO Convertible has under gone a BODY ON RESTORATION. New Paint Nocturne Blue with new black interior, rebuilt motor, transmission and 390 posi rear end and front suspension, all trim has been polished or replated including tripled plated front and rear bumpers.

 

 

This GTO convertible runs and drives excellent and is one of the best examples of true American Muscle on the road today, a definite show winner ready for cruising with 12 factory or dealer installed options.
